Welcome to my lily pad!

Hi! My name's Kermit and welcome to my new blog! I've decided to give the blogging world a try since I've enjoyed reading many other blogs. I figure this will be a way to help gather some of my thoughts and share ideas with others interested in some of the same things as me.
I was trying to come up with a topic to continuously blog about, but I realized there are too many things currently in my life that I could and would like to blog about. So basically, anything goes in terms of the blogging topic here!
I figured I'd share a little bit about myself for my first post:

• I recently got married
• I'm a homeowner of about a year and a half now, but due to wedding planning, my husband and I have not had much time and resources to put towards decorating and making our home ours
• I like to bake, and recently took more of an interest in learning to decorating cakes
• I absolutely love to travel, and want to see much of the world but haven't made it off the continent yet
• I love to shop, which proves to fun and interesting when traveling as well
• Photography is always something I've found fun and interesting and is something I'd like to turn into a more frequent hobby
• I like sports, volleyball and hockey are a couple of my favorites
• My husband is a huge gamer and has gotten me more into video games since we met
• Home redecorating/remodeling is a high priority for us, even more so me since I tend to be the one researching our options
